ParaFlowTool is a professional tool used in school environments that serve children with disabilities. These rules exist to keep the platform safe, effective, and respectful for everyone who uses it.
ParaFlowTool is used by educators, coordinators, and administrators who share a common goal: supporting students with disabilities. Communicate with colleagues as you would want to be communicated with — with patience, professionalism, and good faith. Dismissive language, condescension, or hostility toward other users is not acceptable.
Student information is sensitive and legally protected under FERPA. Do not share, export, or discuss student data outside of authorized contexts. Treat all personally identifiable information (PII) — for students and staff alike — with the same care you would expect for your own records.
Schedules built on bad data create real consequences for students who depend on their supports. Enter information that is true, current, and complete. If you discover an error — whether your own or someone else's — correct or report it promptly rather than working around it.
Do not share your login credentials with others, regardless of convenience. Each user should access the platform only through their own account. Unauthorized access — even well-intentioned — creates compliance risk and accountability gaps.
ParaFlowTool exists to help SPED teams schedule and coordinate paraeducator support effectively. Use it for that purpose. Attempts to scrape data, stress-test systems, or exploit features in unintended ways are prohibited and may result in account suspension.
Harassment of any kind — based on race, gender, disability, religion, national origin, or any other characteristic — will not be tolerated. This applies to how you interact with colleagues within the platform and in any communications related to it. If you witness or experience harassment, report it to support.
SPED operations depend on coordination. Withholding information, creating duplicate or conflicting records, or undermining shared schedules makes everyone's job harder and ultimately harms students. If you disagree with a scheduling decision, raise it through proper channels rather than working around the system.
If you see an uncovered student, a data inconsistency, or a platform issue — say something. The platform exists to surface problems so they can be fixed. Staying quiet about a missed student support because it feels easier in the moment is exactly the outcome ParaFlowTool is designed to prevent.
Your account is associated with your school or district. Your actions within the platform reflect on your organization and, indirectly, on the students and families your team serves. Act accordingly.
Breaches of these rules — particularly those involving privacy, harassment, or unauthorized access — may result in account restrictions, suspension, or termination, depending on severity. Serious violations may be referred to district administration or, where required by law, to relevant authorities.
